Count how many your child has the following:
1. My child finds it difficult paying close attention.
2. My child finds it difficult sustaining attention.
3. My child finds it difficult listening.
4. My child finds it difficult following instructions and finishing homework.
5. My child finds it difficult organizing tasks.
6. My child gets easily distracted.
7. My child fidget or squirm with his/her fingers or feet.
8. My child finds it difficult engaging in activities quietly.
9. My child finds it difficult talking excessively.
10. My child finds it difficult taking turns. (children start to understand a concept of taking turns and sharing by age three)
11. My child finds it difficult not to interrupt others.
Results:
If your child has six (6) or more, the child has symptoms highly consistent with ADHD.
